Dr. Louis Vandersluis – Dentist
I would like to welcome you as a patient to my dental practice. I graduated as a Dentist from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, winning the award for Preventive Dentistry. I am a member Dentist in good standing with the Ontario Dental Association, a member Dentist of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity and licensed to practice dentistry by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
I have practiced Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Toronto on Eglinton near Bayview since 1982. I enjoy working with people of all ages. Since many of my patients are referred to me by their relatives or friends, my dental practice is very family and community oriented. Children are welcome, and being a father of five children myself, I feel very comfortable treating them.
My goals in practicing dentistry are to provide top quality dental care while meeting your dental needs. My emphasis is on preventive dental care and I have special interests in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. By performing all dental work myself I am able to provide you with personal care. Questions are encouraged and all dental treatment plans are thoroughly discussed with you prior to their initiation.
Every effort is made to accommodate you when appointments are scheduled. Should dental emergencies arise when my office is closed, you will be referred to the Emergency Dental Service (416-485-7121). Olinka Blanco – Clinic Coordinator
My own obsession with caring for my teeth lead me to make a huge career change in 2011. In 2012 I graduated from Medix School as a Dental Assistant. In 2013 I was lucky enough to come work for an amazing dentist. Now as his assistant/receptionist I get to focus my time and attention on getting to know patients old and new as well as understanding their needs and concerns. My passion for this field allows me to assist Dr. Vandersluis in providing a calming effect on anxious and fearful patients with the aim of changing negative attitudes and perceptions of Dentistry. Together as a team we will continue to make this office a warm and welcoming one.
